Our CEO, Chris Denby, combined AEC and ad agency experience to create a consulting firm driven to change how our industry views and executes marketing initiatives. Throughout his career, he has worked with all types of companies, large and small, to define marketing strategy and deliver powerful execution. Prior to founding Markitecture, he worked with well-known clients such as General Electric, TRC Solutions, Washington Gas, NAHB and many others to create successful B2B, B2G and B2C communications.

Chris received a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Virginia Tech. His in-house A/E professional experience includes working as an Architectural Intern, a Senior Marketing Executive and a Director of Marketing. His marketing and branding experience includes account management, media planning, brand development, social media strategy and marketing plan development. Chris is also an active member of SMPS and a frequent speaker at industry events on social media, branding and marketing strategy.
